Pool sand filters are designed to utilise natural materials such as quartz, garnet, or silica to effectively filter out dirt and debris from pool water, which ultimately ensures a cleaner pool while reducing the need for excessive chemical treatments. The filter consists of a chamber filled with silica sand, known for its exceptional ability to trap and filter even the tiniest particles in water down to 20 microns.
