AquaLink M8 - Introduction to Automation

What is the Aqualink M8?

Aqualink M8 is the pinnacle of pool automation, allowing you to connect up to 8 devices and 4 valve actuators, which can be controlled through a variety of interface options.

How does it work?

High voltage power enters the unit from the base on the right side, providing power to the interface board, including all 8 pre-wired GPOs. All devices are connected by simply plugging them into one of the 8 power sockets located inside the M8. All low voltage lines use the raceway on the left of the unit.

Controller Options

1. The Jandy One Touch controller is a Wired control interface that connects to the Aqualink M8. It can be positioned at the same location as the M8 power centre or can be positioned up to 40 meters away, provided the cable sizing is adequate. With this pool controller, you’ll be able to do everything from adjusting the temperature to activating a jet or waterfall. This control panel is not waterproof so take care around liquids.

2. The Jandy Aqualink Pool Digital Assistant (PDA) gives you the power to wirelessly control a pool or spa from up to 150m away from the Aqualink M8. With this remote pool controller, you’ll be able to do everything from adjusting the temperature to activating a jet or waterfall at the touch of a button. It is completely waterproof and buoyant – so you can enjoy the convenience of using it while you’re in the pool or spa.

3. The Zodiac iAquaLink™ gives you exclusive access to the settings of your pool using any smartphone, tablet, or web-connected device – anytime, anywhere. The iAquaLink pool controller connects to the Aqualink M8 control system allowing remote access from anywhere in the world, provided you have an internet connection. This is an OPTIONAL configuration that can be added to any Aqualink M8.
