• 150g decreases Total Alkalinity by 10ppm per

10,000L

• If pH >8.2 add 200g per 10,000L

• If pH 8.0 – 8.2 add 120g per 10,000L

• If pH 7.8 – 8.0 add 60g per 10,000L

Pro Tip:

• When wanting to lower pH and not Total

Alkalinity, dissolve the product in a bucket

of water, and then apply evenly around the

edges of the pool

• When wanting to lower Total Alkalinity with

only a slight effect on pH, simply take your

dose of dissolved dry acid and pour it slowly

into one spot in the deep end of your pool.

• High pH reduces the effectiveness of your

chlorine
