Zodiac TRi-PRO Advantages
TRi-PRO defines a new era in water care

Zodiac TRi & pH Balance
pH balance is the single most important element of pool
water chemistry.
pH measures the acid or base condition of the water. The
pH scale provides information that lets you know how effective the
sanitiser is in the water. A high pH means that your chlorine
is ineffective this then leads to the strong 'chlorine smell' known
as chloramines.
Why is this important?
If your protective products aren't doint their job properly,
your pool can be over-run by nasty micro-organisims.
Secondly, unbalanced water may be corrosive, resulting in damage to
the equipment in your pool.
To keep your sanitiser effective a pH level of between 7.2 and
7.6 is required, TRi-pH will monitor this and will correct it
automatically.

Active Chlorine Level Explained
ACL or Active Chlorine Level is what is used to describe the
actual killing potential of the sanitiser in your pool water. This
is often referred to as ORP (oxidation Reduction Potential) which
measures the electrical conductivity of the water, which generally
for sanitised water is around 650-700mV.
As chlorine (or other sanitisers) are used up they sometimes
present an overall chlorine reading in the water, even though they
have lost their potential to kill any harmful bacteria.
The ACL function on TRi-PRO will only detect the active chlorine
to keep your pool in great health.

Mineral salt pools are becoming popular among pool
owners, but there is much confusion about what chlorinator you need
to use.
All Zodiac chlorine generators are compatible with mineral salt
blends. Simply add the mineral salts to your pool once you have
installed your TRi. Or, if you don't want mineral salts why not
consider our mineral purifier Nature2.
