Pool Fencing

It’s important that you understand and follow the childproof pool fence regulations before your pool is filled.

In all Australian states and territories, a pool safety fence must meet Australian Standard safety requirements.  It must be in place and inspected prior to filling the pool with water.

Safety fences can only do their job when you use them correctly. Remember to always keep the gate shut and never prop it open. Repair or replace the safety latch if it breaks, and keep the area around the fence free from pot plants and outdoor furniture that could be used to climb the fence.
